Las Vegas, Nellis AFB, January 25th, 2007, 85-0131 McDonnell Douglas F-15D Eagle MSN 0945/D055. 57th ATG/65th AS) crashed on Nevada Test and Training Range after takeoff from Nellis AFB for combat training mission Jul 30, 2008. 1 killed, 1 injured. Cause of accident was pilot momentarily exceeding maneuvering limitation when fuel remained in external tanks, which led to loss of control.
